Posted Jul 13, 2018 Thank you to our volunteers from Medtronic who came out to celebrate summer at Jackson Health System Long Term Care Center. We're kicking off this BBQ with burgers on the grill, live music, games and movie time! This 180-bed skilled nursing facility assists with the discharge of patients that cannot be easily be discharged from hospital to home or other community nursing homes due to complex medical conditions. Thank you to our volunteers for bringing the fun to our residents and making miracles happen at Jackson. #SupportJHF

Posted Jul 10, 2018 Five-year-old Avril was struck by a drunk driver which caused her to go into cardiac arrest. Avril was brought to Ryder Trauma Center where a CT scan showed she had bleeding in the brain. After treatment and recovery time, Avril completed all her physical and occupational therapies and continues cognitive therapy at Jackson Health System. He was brought to Ryder Trauma Center, where he underwent spinal surgery. Initially only able to move his fingers post-surgery, Jorge was discharged from Jackson Memorial Hospital - walking.
